Sueña (or Sueño in the case of a male character fitting the following description), a Spanish word that translates to dream in English, describes a character that was made as their creator's 'ideal partner.' The term was named after the Gaboza character, Sueña, from Second Chance; though she was not the first instance of Gaboza doing this.
When World-Class Investigation: Poison Ivy was reworked into World-Class Investigation: Zer0-Sum, Kayla was unveiled, and considered the Sueña character for Generation 4.
Whether they know it or not, many artist have made "Sueña" characters; not just Gaboza. For example, Chiaki Nanami from the Danganronpa series was stated by the game's creator, Kazutaka Kodaka to have the traits of the 'ideal woman.'
So far, only one Sueña has been introduced per generation (since Generation 2). There isn't a rule in place that makes this have to be the case, however.
