"That's what trials are for, right? Flirting?"
-Valentine, Gaboza's Killing Game 2: Despair Holiday
Valentine Wilson was the mastermind behind the Killing School Life and Killing School Trip that happened in Gaboza's Killing Game 1 and 2, respectively.
Valentine is a young woman of average height. In Gaboza's Killing Game 2: Despair Holiday, she seems to be wearing a labcoat over a set of pajamas, complete with slippers. The labcoat accentuates her hourglass figure. Valentine also wears glasses, and is surprisingly the first Generation 3 character to do so.
Valentine's hair is a bright red. Old artwork showing her to have brown roots implies her hair is dyed.
Valentine is a loud and brash person, although her personality wasn't always this way. She has a tendency to make vulgar comments, such as implying sexual desire where there is none. There is a limit to this, as even she expressed annoyance when her reveal as mastermind was deflected due to another student being flirted with in Class Trial 2-6.
Valentine always dreamed of holding the title of 'Ultimate,' and honed her knowledge of biology to the very best of her ability. Despite this, she was never scouted, and continued to double down on her work until a mix of overworking herself and jealousy drove her to insanity. She put the blame on the 'Ultimates,' telling herself that they saw themselves as being on a higher level than her.
Valentine wallowed in her own despair, and decided to share this emotion with the world. She had connections with an Ultimate: the Ultimate Actress, Kinako. Kinako shared a goal with Valentine in hating ultimates, despite being one. The exact details of how they enacted their plan is unclear; but it's known that when Valentine achieved success and eventually had control over the academy she had so much hatred for, she betrayed Kinako and became the sole mastermind of the killing game; and when it succeeded, she started another, this time wanting to experience it firsthand. In this second killing game, Valentine was eventually exposed, and put to execution per her own rules.
Many details about Valentine, such as her name, hair color, and birthday were randomly generated when forms for Despair Holiday opened.
Valentine was not originally planned to be the mastermind. Instead, Layla Nakia was originally created for this role.
Valentine is the Gaboza's Killing Game counterpart to Junko Enoshima from the Danganronpa series.
