For the term referring to characters based on one's ideal romantic partner, see Sueña (term).
"I’m not ready to give up the ‘dream girl’ title just yet."
-Sueña, Second Chance
Sueña is Gio's main love interest in Second Chance. She first appears in Chapter 4, where Gio initially causes her to feel a bit unsettled; though she ends up warming up to him eventually.
Sueña is a tall, young woman with a modest build, usually seen in form-fitting clothing when not at work. She has very long brown hair that goes down to her hips, and gold-colored hoop earrings.
Sueña is a confident girl who initially comes off as rude, due to a reason revealed later. She finds pleasure in teasing people, mainly romantic interests, which is primarily shown when Gio calls her his 'dream girl,' and she makes him call her Sueña until their third date, when she reveals her real name. Gio still called her Sueña after the name reveal anyway.
As is the case with many other Second Chance characters, Sueña has a less than ideal home life. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and her mom remarried just a couple of years after the divorce. Sueña's brother, Lucas, was fairly young when the divorce happened, and has little to no memories of their father, who he never got close to. Sueña, on the opposite end of things, always preferred her father. Most childhood memories she considers pleasant are with him. Sueña's mother and stepdad aren't meant to be abusive (though the topic is a bit subjective), but they do tend to be very controlling.
Sometime a few years before the events of Second Chance, Sueña's father came down with a terminal illness, and by the time Second Chance is taking place, he is close to succumbing to it. Sueña meets Gio while in a pretty dark place in her life, balancing many of life's problems while working and attending college. Although put off by him at first, she ends up developing feelings for him in no time.
In Chapter 65 of Second Chance, Gio breaks up with Sueña, which, as far as she's concerned, was for no reason. After the events of Second Chance, she tries to get in contact with Gio, but to no avail.
*Sueña seemingly appears in In Your Imagination! (Remake), but it's actually her flipped variant; not the version of her from Second Chance.
Sueña was originally made as a concept character for Gaboza's ideal woman.
Her nickname means 'dream' in Spanish.
Sueña is the only non-Strings of Fate character to have a middle name in Generation 3.
Sueña is the only Second Chance character to have undergone zero major design changes since the story's conception in 2020.
Sueña appears to be a fan of the metalcore band, Motionless in White. In Second Chance, Chapter 13, she wears a shirt with the band's logo. In Second Chance, Chapter 38, she sings the lyrics to their song, Eternally Yours.
