Gio

Appearance

Gio is a tall man with an athletic build. His typical outfit contains a black and white varsity jacket with its sleeves rolled up to his elbows, draped over a plain white shirt. He wears black pants, and yellow shoes. He has rings on every finger on his right hand, barring his ring finger, ironically. He has a diamond earring on his right ear. He represents the cardinal sin of Pride, and is the only non-antagonistic character in Second Chance to represent a cardinal sin.

Personality

Gio considers himself an unlucky person. Toward the beginning and end of the story, he's almost always seen in a depressive state, except when with Sueña and in other moments, though those are few and far between. Despite this, he's still a prideful person, and will often pick fights with people that lay their hands on him or insult him. He believes that if he can get with a cute girl, his life will be a lot brighter.

History

Gio's belief that he's been dealt nothing but bad hands doesn't come without reason. He was born to already-divorced parents, a kindhearted mom and an abusive dad. His mother passed away when he was 3, and since then, he had to live with his father, who had remarried to who was now Gio's abusive stepmother. Gio would often be starved and beaten by his father. Gio was also often neglected, with examples like being left at school until the sun had set and having to walk home, and spending nights locked outside of his house.

Gio had somewhat of a better time in school, finding an escape with his friends and at Roland's house. He felt his friends were his one and only support system, until the inevitable betrayal took place. He vowed to finally take control of his life and even the score with them, thanks to Mori's help.

*The Gio seen in In Your Imagination! (Remake) is later clarified to be the Flipped Gio, meaning the version of him residing in Generation 3's flipside. This version of Gio never made the deal with Mori, apparently having received his chain necklace from Sueña instead.
