Vampire

Vampires are a humanlike species that is featured in Soul Strike, under the broader classification of 'monster'. Being monsters, they are weak to direct sunlight. Vampires are the strongest monster species, with the weakest ones boasting strength of demon rank fighters around the #120 mark. 

Vampire heights typically run near taller than average by human standards. Their eyes are shaped like a cat's or a snake's, with a slit in the middle. Possible vampire eye colors include pale blue, yellow, orange, and red, with rumors saying the eye color grows warmer based on the amount of human/humanlike blood in their systems.

The blood vampires need to live parallels human diets to an extent; herbivore blood is as if a human was eating vegetables, carnivore blood is as if a human was eating meat, and omnivore blood is seen as a holy grail, containing all the necessary nutrients a vampire needs to continue living. If vampires go a long enough time without blood, they will eventually grow anemic, causing side effects like a worse sense of balance and brain fog. Vampires can eventually die without blood in their systems.

Vampires boast very few dire weaknesses. Direct sunlight exposure will burn them alive in under a minute, and they will live indefinitely unless they starve, or their brains and/or hearts are completely destroyed. Garlic and similar strong-smelling substances can be used as a deterrent, but aren't an actual weakness. Once vampires reach physical maturity, they cease to age, and are immortal unless killed by one of the previously-specified means.

Unlike in many folklore stories, vampires in Soul Strike are not undead humans, but rather just a very similar species.
